It was so much fun to join the students at West End Middle School as they celebrated the different nations. The grades rotated between the several stations every hour to ensure that they all saw the full spectrum. One room included learning about different music either through dancing or instruments. Another station had tables that the students worked on showcasing countries from around the world with pictures, regional facts, food and examples of native customs. All of the hard work that the kids put in was evident as they took pride in representing another nations. It was exciting to see how much they learned about another country and how much they taught the visitors as they came and experienced the different cultures. It was a growing experience for the kids and an informative, fun-filled day for the parents.
